Meet Daisy

It’s time now to find Daisy a home.
Special Home Required! We are currently readvertising Daisy after removing a previous advert.
After a trip to another vet there really is nothing they can do in Bosnia to change or help her.
She is how she is but still deserves a loving home.. maybe even more so!


Daisy is now 8 months old and has been in the shelter for 6 months .
She is on the smaller size weighing 7/8kg.
During that time she has been a happy and friendly pup who loves to play and gets on with everyone!
It was noted by Vera few months ago that on occasions when she got excited or nervous she would shake her head and tremble. This then got worse over the following months notably the more happy and excitable she got!

Vera of course has taken her to be seen by the vet many times to try to understand the cause of this behaviour and the vets have concluded that this type of problem could be caused by many things including neurological problems. There is obviously the option of more scans and tests but the vets have said this will eliminate or highlight the problems but at the end of the day it wouldn’t solve it.

We would like to make it clear that Daisy is fine and well. She is not in pain and does not get stressed by the tremours. She … ‘ just gets on with it’!
We have spoken to people with dogs with similar symptoms and it has been suggested that there is no real cure for this but some have been treated by CBD oil or similar (natural remedies) Most it would seem go on to live long and happy lives and that is what we want for Daisy.
We are looking for a family in the UK who will take care of her and love her as she is. A home where shes accepted for how she is and family that are happy to look after her regardless of her condition. I reiterate we are not looking for anyone that will give up on her!

The normal conditions apply we are looking for a family home ( children 10+ standard) where someone is home most of the day to look after her and a secure garden to keep her safe.
She loves to play so another smaller dog in the home would be perfect.
Daisy will never be a ‘free’ dog but we plan to fundraise her transport to the UK .
She will be available on a reduced adoption fee.
